JillAnne Aden

Hello, I am JillAnneAden and I am the Owner & Operator of Humboldt Improv in beautiful Humboldt County, CA. I have a background in improv & musical improv, storytelling and theatre, creative writing, public speaking and teaching. I consider myself a “Jill-Of-All-Trades”, as I have worked in and developed a multi-faceted career trajectory over my years as a professional.

As a voice artist, I have worked with companies such as Microsoft, CapitalOne, WellsFargo, Venus-Gillette, and ForcefieldGames, among many more. I have experience working in radio hosting, audiobooks, advertising, animation, video games, ESL and learning narrations, IVR systems, trailers, character voices, and documentary, radio and commercial narration.

As an improviser and improv comedy instructor at San Diego's Finest City Improv and other improv schools and organizations throughout southern California, I have created and conducted workshops and all level improv comedy classes, including musical improv, improv forms, and beginning to advanced improv and acting classes.

As a corporate team building facilitator for thousands of students over the years, I have also worked with many organizations creating team building workshops for and instructing workplace teams towards better unity, communication and creativity. I have developed and facilitated team building programs for companies such as ClickUp, Intuit, and InternationalGamingSystems. I have been a guest speaker and educator at numerous events and conferences, including PITTCON, along with working with several local, national and international non-profits, such as Global Communities.
